I did play on Hard mode, which is not as hard as it implied, but it helped make the game a bit less trivial. The combat is basically the same shit as 4, but the enemies at least were more visually appealing and mechanically engaging than in 4. Since then, the puzzles in this game have unfortunately been very easy, but I did find there were more in 5 that had me sitting there for a while than in previous entries, which is a good thing. again, the only game with really challenging puzzles was the original Trine and this mostly came from engine limitations positioning and manoeuvring were very tricky. Lots of pretty scenery, and a number of urban maps, which helps make the world feel less "post-apocalyptic" which is kind of the vibe I got from Trine 1 you get to see human civilization. Several of them had kind of a jazz-y feel. While pretty much every game in the series has had good music, Trine 5's soundtrack is kind of a "best of" the series - but, again, they're rearrangements, not just the same song or a remix, so it is in a sense new material. Almost every song (other than the main theme) was recognizable as a rearrangement of an earlier Trine song. The first and most important thing about it is the music.
